Meet the Trainers
Dr Vin Rajeswaran
Founder and Director
Dr Vin Rajeswaran is our director, past Vice President of the Skin Cancer College Australasia and has been acknowledged both nationally and internationally for his passion to bring quality Skin Cancer Care to rural and remote Australia. Dr Vin has been a Skin Doctor for more than a decade and prioritises patient outcome over everything else.
Dr Vin has played a pivotal role in bringing cutting edge technologies to aid Skin Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment in primary care. He is now bringing together leaders in the Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer fields to provide colleagues with the best opportunities to learn from the best. By aiding others’ knowledge base, Dr Vin is bringing better patient care to more than just his community!
Dr Ashfaq Marghoob
Course Director- Dermoscopy
Dr. Ashfaq A. Marghoob is a dermatologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of patients at elevated risk for skin cancer. He serves as the director of the Memorial Sloan Kettering regional skin cancer clinic in Hauppauge, New York, and is deeply committed to patient care, research, and education.
Dr. Marghoob has published more than 450 peer-reviewed articles, contributed over 50 book chapters, and lectures widely on national and international stages. His research focuses on nevogenesis, melanomagenesis, and improving the early detection of skin cancer by leveraging imaging technologies and dermoscopy to distinguish malignant lesions from benign mimickers.
Dr Franz Strydom
Course Director- Skin Surgery
Skinspots was established by Doctor Franz Strydom to meet the demand for primary care skin cancer screening and treatment. Dr. Strydom was part of the team that developed the minor surgery skin cancer project for the ministry of health in the Bay of Plenty and is credentialed by the DHB and PHO to provide basic to advanced level of care for patients with skin cancer.
He also attends and presents local and overseas courses on skin cancer. His practice involves skin cancer detection, prevention and treatment. Formal qualifications – Bachelor of Sciences, Honours and Master degrees in medical science’s.
Graduated from Stellenbosch University as a medical doctor. Holds Fellowships with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, and with the Skin Cancer College. Further training includes Advanced certificates in Dermoscopy / Dermal Imaging and Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery from SCCA. Certificate in Fundamental Techniques of Plastic Surgery for GPs, Skin Cancer Histopathology.
